Inkbender was founded by Fortune Chigozie Ogulere, a Nigerian-born multidisciplinary artist, writer, and creative based in New York City.
Driven by a deep love for African storytelling and creative expression, Fortune launched Inkbender to blur the lines between publishing, fashion, and animation — crafting bold, original work that speaks to identity, history, and imagination.
His creative practice bends ink into voice, visuals, and vision—making space for underrepresented stories to not only exist, but lead.
Inkbender is more than a brand. It’s a movement rooted in heritage, shaped by style, and made to speak.
